    The book is divided from the western medicine diagnosis of diseases of the skin with herbal formulas and brief commentary on TCM diagnosis. Individual doses and herbs have adjustments for the patient, but the formulas that are collected are effective in my experience. I recommend purchasing an illustrated manual of diseases of the skin, to accompany this book, and reading CDC / state guidelines on infectious diseases / communicable. Skin diseases, infectious and difficult to kill, are often misdiagnosed.

    good book as an additional source of information for the case of dermatology, which have both: herbs and acupuncture and moxibustion treatment suggestions. It was my first book in Chinese medicine in dermatology, and has served prupose, although I will occasionally still be compared with other, more expensive and thorough “in TCM Dermatology” by Xu Yihou. I have 4 stars, because there is no detailed explanation, compared to the other.
